Ekta, originally trained as a pharmacist and now an educator by profession, discovered her passion for drawing in 2009 under the guidance of Duane Dudley, renowned for his work as an illustrator for the Scooby-Doo movies. While colored pencils remain her preferred medium, she finds joy in exploring various artistic expressions, including graphite, charcoal, pastels, chalk, and acrylics.

Her journey into photography began as a means to capture references for her drawings, evolving into a profound passion. Nature's beauty, intricate textures, and captivating patterns heavily influence her artistic style, evident in her vibrant creations.

As a member of both the Colored Pencil Society of America and the American Society of Botanical Artists, Ekta's work has garnered recognition across multiple platforms. Her artistry has graced the pages of 'Courageous Creativity' magazine, 'Ann Kullberg's Colored Pencil Magazine,' and 'Colored Pencil Magazine.'

Beyond her personal pursuits, Ekta has curated numerous art exhibitions and played pivotal roles in organizing local and global art competitions. Her artwork has earned acclaim in juried exhibitions at galleries and fine art fairs alike. She has also lent her talents to coordinating fashion shows and cultural festivals and served on the boards of various non-profit organizations.
